Lots of Fun for Walking Dead Fans

Overall this is a great rendition of Monopoly in "The Walking Dead" style. It may not be obvious to some but this game is modeled after the comic book series and not the television series.
Pros:
The art on the board is fantastic.
The play pieces are really cool. (I called dibs on Rick's hat!)
The way they converted the money into supplies like ammo is neat.
Scavenge and Supply Chest cards are fun.
Overall the re-naming of the territories was well-done.
The printed instructions are detailed and the short-game mode suggestion is cool.
Cons:
The "houses" and "hotels" are now called "walls" and "guard towers" respectively however they are still plastic houses and hotels. It would have been nice if they were actually walls and guard towers but that's being a bit nit picky I think.
A little more printed money would have been nice. With four players we quickly ran out of 1's and had to keep turning them in to the bank for larger bills so the bank would have some.

If you're a fan of The Walking Dead and you like Monopoly you can't go wrong with this!

Walking Dead Fans!

This item took forever to arrive, it was a pre-ordered in Sept and did not arrive till Nov, but with that said,the game is awesome and so much fun especially if your like me a big Walking Dead fan! This has now become my FAVORITE Monopoly game! Nice job Hasbro! The only problem is everyone fights over the tokens especially the bucket of body parts!

Similar but a fun twist on a classic

This game is fun for fans of The Walking Dead, although very similar to the original monopoly game. There are a few "additional" walking dead specific rules that they added, but for the most part its the same. They changed the name of the properties as expected, and the game pieces are different. The game caters more to the graphic novel, but since the show is loosely based on the GN, fans of just the show will pick up on most of the themes. Its a fun twist to regular monopoly and got me back into wanting to play the game.
Pros:
In depth changes to regular Monopoly to correspond with the Walking Dead universe.
Detailed art on the board, playing cards, and money
Cons:
Game pieces are rough and kind of shoddy(like they popped them from the casting into the box with no cleanup)
Two of the game pieces (sword & baseball bat) are so thin, that I was always having to search for my game piece.
Summary:
Don't let the game piece issue deter you, it doesn't take away from the fun of the game. Not much to complain about. Fun game as always. I didn't reveal too many specifics because if you're like me then half the fun is discovering everything when you open it.
