Terrible customer service

I purchased this item as a gift and as soon as the item was flown it began smoking and fell to the ground. I contacted the seller and was asked multiple questions about the weather, implying that I had somehow caused the damage. The seller and I have now exchanged a total of 12 emails and no resolution has been reached. The item is very oversized and the seller refuses to send a replacement, therefore allowing me to return the damaged item in an appropriate shipping box. They continue to request that I "find a simple box." The customer service is the worst I have ever had with Amazon related purchases and I would strongly advise anyone considering this purchase to look elsewhere.

Great but didn't last

This quad-copter is huge: it's a 50cm square. It's fast, responsive and really easy to control. However, after 5 beautiful flights, it just lost power and now it doesn't work.
I have contacted the vendor and new motors are being mounted on the warranty (although I payed the mail)
Hope the second round of motors last longer.
Besides this fact I would give it 5 stars.
PROS:
-huge 50x50cm
-responsive and powerful;
-fast;
-4 power levels: 40% easy to control up to 100%=super fast;
-special button to do stunts;
-foam, stronger than you think.
CONS:
-battery not so easy to remove;
-7 minutes flight time --> I bought a second battery
-foam design could be more quad-copter like, instead of so UFO design;
If the motors issue won't repeat, absolutely worthy

It "was" fun!

Worked great for the first month. Was very happy with the way it performed. Then one day it lost power and couldn't even get off the ground with a fully charged battery. I think the circuit. board has gone south.
